We’ll analyze your family dynamics, assets and goals, then build out an estate plan to protect your family from the plethora of unfortunate circumstances families who have not planned in this special way are exposed to.
Elder Life & Legacy Planning
As we age - frequent falling, illness, and immobility can make assisted living arrangements necessary but difficult to afford (currently up to $10,000 / month in Michigan). Elder-Life & Legacy Planning is our service of proactively analyzing a senior parent’s health, assets, and family, to provide the tools and strategies necessary to preserve financial resources if or when Long Term Care becomes necessary.
Special Needs Trust Planning
Whether a child of yours is currently receiving a governmental benefit or is likely to in the future, we can help ensure the inheritance you leave for them will not disqualify them for disability assistance like Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicaid, or Section 8 benefits. Assets inherited by way of Special Needs Trust are not subject to spenddown rules and can be enjoyed on supplemental needs not covered by disability benefits.
